Ok bear with me on this one. We spend so much time trying to reduce render noise but sometimes it feels appropriate to add some grain on top of a finished render for artistic effect. So here’s a blend file that exploits Cycles’ difficulty with sampling volumes to create grain textures which you can then export and use in any image editing software you like.
I’ve also attached some pre-rendered textures for you at 1920×1080
