Modular Workspaces for Blender is a combination of an addon and asset library file designed to speed up your startup workflow.
Drag and drop pre-made collection assets from the asset browser into your scene, and with the press of a single button, Modular Workspaces will recenter, unpack and organize all of the imported assets into new collections, ready for you to start working.
Please read the documentation page and watch the introductory video below to learn more about the project and familiarize yourself with how it works.
The Addon
Installing the addon will add a new tab in the 3D View sidebar. This tab will display a series of panels containing operations that will help you unpack and clean up content in your file.
In addition to this, extra buttons have been added to the Blender interface to make it easy to open and close the asset browser from the 3D view. Your favorite asset browser settings will apply automatically when opening the browser, providing you with a shortcut to access your favorite library content.
Asset Library File
The asset library file is completely optional and 100% customizable, just open the blend file and start modifying the pre-existing collections and node groups however you like. You can even add more presets or create your own asset libraries from scratch. The unpacking functionality for the addon will work with collection assets from any library.
Drag and drop content from the asset library into your scene and unpack with the press of a button!
Character Display Update
A variety of lighting templates have been added to the asset library, giving you customizable starting point for getting great-looking character renders. Watch the update video here to see the templates in action.
I think there’s something wrong with this upload. The zipped file is 12mb, but when you unzip it it’s 200kb. Something’s wrong, I can feel it
INSTALL ADGUARD IN UR BROWSER MA GUY BEFORE DOWNLOADING SHIT ┬┴┬┴┤ ͜ʖ ͡°) ├┬┴┬┴
I got it! The problem wasn’t the download, I could download the file just fine with my usual adblockers. It was the unzipping program. The default Windows 11 explorer did not unpack it correctly. So if anyone else is getting just 3 small files instead of 12mb – use WinRar instead of the built-in Windows 11 tool
sorry for the extra message Sensei, just wanted to let others know how I fixed it
The link works but when i try downloading it tells me “File does not exist: at Modules/BlockScript.pm line 52.”
even disabled my adblocker but nada
i think its not compatible with ur blender
